ROME AND TUSCANY TOUR
1° day – Rome
Arrival in Rome, transfer from the airport to the hotel. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in the city center, hotel Bw Plus Universo or similar. Afternoon free for individual visit, overnight stay.
2° day -Rome City tour
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and visit to the largest archaeological area in the world: the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums and Mount Palatine (skip-the-line tickets included). We will trample the places dating back to the founding of Rome up to the imperial age. Among the other historical legacies of the route: the Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Titus, the Capanne Rotulee, the House of Livia, the House of Augustus, the Cryptoporticus of Nero and the Palace of Domitian.
Free time for lunch, afternoon at disposal for individual visit

A tour that will leave us amazed, between classical antiquities and works by the most important Renaissance artists. It can be considered unique in the world as regards to the number and importance of Bernini’s sculptures and Caravaggio’s canvases. Price: 60€ per person (min 4 pax)
3° day – Rome
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide a guided tour of the city center.
We will move to the heart of the historic center with a visit to Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna and the palaces of Italian political power. Next to the square we find Via Condotti, symbol of the fashion discrict in Rome. From here, we’ll go to the Trevi Fountain, unforgettable location of “La Dolce Vita” by Fellini, in wich a very young Anita Ekberg invites Marcello Mastroianni into the fountain, using the famous: “Marcello, come here!”. After a short stop, we’ll visit to Piazza della Rotonda to admire the Pantheon, a temple built in 27 BC. later converted into a Basilica, and the Renaissence fountain of Bernini built in the square in 1575.
Free time for lunch, afternoon at disposal for individual visit. Dinner and overnight stay
4° day – Florence – Siena
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to Florence, with stop in Siena e San Gimignano.
Free visit of Siena. You can begin the visit from Piazza del Campo with the Torre del Mangia and the facade of the Palazzo Pubblico. In this square the famous Palio di Siena is organized, a horse race organized by the districts of the city. You can continue towards Palazzo Tolomei, once home to illustrious personalities, don’t miss the Duomo of Siena, of which you can also see the Baptistery. Inside this temple we will find a sublime collection of masterpieces of art, among which the Maestà by Duccio di Buoninsegna and the statue of St. Paul, sculpted by a very young Michelangelo.
Transfer to San Gimignano in the Chianti valley, the heart of old Tuscany, famous all over the world for its renowned wines. An eventful history and a winemaking tradition dating back to the 13th century have made this area the ideal place to immerse yourself in vineyards, hills and characteristic villages.
Free time for visit or wine tasting.
In the afternoon transfer to Florence and accommodation in a 4* hotel in the city center.
5° day -Florence
Breakfast at the hotel and meet with the guide for the Florence walking tour.
Morning dedicated to the discovery of Florence and its treasures. You will walk through the streets of the historic center where you can admire famous monuments, buildings and statues of world- renowned artists, such as Michelangelo’s David, Palazzo degli Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio. Do not miss the stop at Ponte Vecchio, the most striking and oldest bridge, where the sparkling shops of the Florentine goldsmiths are still located. A curious stop will be Fontana del Porcellino where traditionally you touch the nose of the pig in the hope of receiving good luck in retur.
Free time for lunch. Afternoon at disposal, overnight stay.
6° day Pisa
Breakfast at the hotel and full day around the medieval towns of Pisa and Lucca.
Free time in Pisa. You can begin discovering the city from Piazza dei Miracoli, which contains many Unesco heritage buildings: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and its famous Leaning Tower. One of the most famous squares is “Piazza delle Vettovaglie”, close there is Borgo Stretto… Take your time to stroll around this shopping streets, very popular with both tourists and locals! Free time for lunch.
Transfer to Lucca. Lucca is very famous for its medieval walls, as the city grew and modernized, the
walls that surrounded the old town were maintained and as they lost their military importance, the top of the walls became a pedestrian promenade, today one of Lucca’s main attractions, from where you can overlook the entire city in all its medieval beauty!
You will visit the city center of the town: The Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Martin and a wonderful example of Romanesque architectural style; the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and the archeological remains under the 12th century church of Saints Giovanni and Reparata; Piazza of San Michele with its beautiful Church of San Michele in Foro, the Basilica of San Frediano as well as the Clock Tower and Guinigi Tower.
Return to Florence and overnight stay.
7° day -Florence
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and end of services. On request, private transfer to the airport.
